Hey there, artist!
Have you ever felt stuck in your art journey, or like you’re not progressing at the rate you know you’re capable of?
… or maybe you get frustrated watching artists improve faster than you, and creating beautiful artworks almost effortlessly – leaving you wondering what you are missing.
… or perhaps you feel overwhelmed by everything you need to do, focusing on learning 10 subjects at the same time, mastering 20 tools, watching 100 tutorials and feeling like you’re constantly learning, but without seeing any significant massive progress in your artworks.
So let’s fix that.
My goal is teaching you the things that will really help you improve your art and be well on your way to realize your artist dreams.
I didn’t have anyone who gave me the proper guidance back when I started, so I feel very happy that I can share this stuff with you.
When starting out as an artist, there are so many things to learn, and it is easy to feel completely overwhelmed.
Well, that’s how I felt when I started out in the creative industries over 10 years ago.

(That’s me sailing to an island to celebrate 100.000 subscribers on YouTube one fine summer in my home town of Gothenburg, Sweden!)
So what makes me different? Who am I to teach anything, right?
Well, I’ve been teaching a lot of different things throughout the years and I’ve been working in many different industries so I’ve picked up a lot of great insights, workflows and created my own techniques that are quite unique, especially when applied to digital art.
So let me introduce myself.
I’m Walid Feghali – concept artist, music composer, commercial pilot, mechanical engineer, traveling creator, and co-founder of Evenant.
For the past few years I’ve been exploring the world, living the life of a nomadic creator, creating music and art for films and games and teaching others how to turn their passion into a living.
I have worked on many projects as an artist, creating concept art for games, such as Ubisoft’s STEEP and The Division, and other smaller indie games. I have also created concepts and storyboards for indie movies, and written symphonic orchestral scores for movies and trailers.
But my primary work in the digital art field has been illustrating environments, backgrounds, album cover artworks, logos, and so on.
It has helped support me financially throughout my travels and endeavours as a freelancer.
However my career certainly didn’t start this way.
Far from it, actually. I honestly had no clue what I was doing. The first few months and years were quite a struggle, and I did a lot of things right, but also a lot of things wrong…
